Our Manifesto, goals, ideas, and other errata. Don't read between the lines, just read. It's all real simple.
What Is RetroKitten?
Founded in 2000, RetroKitten is a networking tool for Models, Photographers, Artists, Performers and Promoters, in alternative genres (pin-up, gothic, rock-a-billy, punk, fetish and retro) to find others to collaborate with.
The process of creating art is hard enough. Finding people to do it with shouldn't be that hard. There are tons of places that you can find others, but none that specializes in it. And we don't charge for our services.
What RetroKitten Isn't
This is not a dating site. RetroKitten is open to the public, but the people posting here don't want to be bothered by requests for dates. If you are looking for dates or friends, check out fetbytes.com
We are not a talent site or agency. People listed here are done so without our explicit endorsement. We do not take any fees, or handle any contractual negotiations. It is up to the artists involved to make the necessary arrangements, and to take any and all necessary precautions.
What Happened?
Long story short. A series of unfortunate occurances, from illness to server problems forced us offline. We have been focusing on other projects that generate revenue. For a slightly more detailed over view, read "We're Back!"
What's It Cost?
Nothing. RetroKitten is Free. We don't charge for anything. We do this as a service to the community we belong to.
