Are you a model or a photographer? Are you in the Mid West? Better yet, are you in Ohio? Then you've probably already heard about the 2006 Alt Model Group Shoot and Social, hosted for its second year in Columbus!
Date: June 10th, 2006
Cost: $15 at the door (food, and rental costs are covered)

Ages: 18 years and older ONLY - ID required

Bonus: All attendees to the Group Shoot will also get FREE Admission to Outland Nightclub that evening. In addition, The Chamber in Columbus will be having a photo competition for members of the group Shoot. The Winner and runners up will be featured at the Chamber for the Month of July!
For Photographers
* In Ohio - Photographers are expected to show with a alt model escort. That means, that when a photographer RSVPs, then need to include info about what model they are attending with. We have the escort rule in place, to prevent there from being too many photographers and not enough models.
* Out of State - We accept a limited number of out of state photographers who attend without a model... exceptions are always possible and reasonable per case.
* Out of USA - Photographers from outside the USA are never expected to bring a model, though we would love them to bring a model with them!
What can I expect?
This group shoot and social is a chance for industry insiders to meet countless other talents, take photos, and network! Many photographers and models attend, with plans to just scout for talent to work with in the future!
What you can expect are a lot of models and photographers! At this event, wallflowers will not go far!
We suggest you bring the following - business cards (this is critical!), plan for locational shooting (we can not provide studio space for 40+ photographers), and a sign to place with your things! At the 2005 group shoot there were -0- theft reports....but we still suggest you bring some form of lockable storage for your things.
* Photographers - we suggest you get a shirt custom printed with your studio/photographer name and on the shirt also have your best portfolio photo on it. This shirt should cost you only $15 and will help tons of people find you!* Models - come prepared to do your own makeup (makeup and mirror is a must - we simply don't have space for 60 models to all stand before bathroom mirrors). Bring business cards to give to photographers that you shoot with - or want to shoot with - this will help photographers to get you your photos.
